As a Start

Random bursts of motivation can actually lead to creation. After I originally made this website earlier this year, neglected and eventually just forgot about it, I decided to resurrect it for some reason.

Why? Because I need a space to store writings. That’s it. I don’t care about coding or any ‘old internet’ Aesthetics as they are propagated on here. But there is obviously a performative element in this website because I do want to present myself and my work in a certain way, which I couldn’t do under the shackles of pre-made websites such as Twitter or Substack.

A note on the coding: I know its bad. I will not try to excuse anything, the site looks like this because I cannot do it better and because I do not want to learn how to do it better. However, the general layout and aesthetics are very much intentional. I personally favor minimalist and subtle beauty and I disdain maximalism, especially layout wise.

I am currently stuck in exam season and its very important for me to do at least good enough so don’t expect a lot to be happening here. But I will try to post on Phainomena at least weekly.
