·To put it broadly: My main area of interest is modern Europe (meaning 19th and 20th century) with my main subject of interest being the concept of “modernity” in the European context and with that the reactions against modernity, some might say the “revolts”, by the Europeans. Specific objects I like to study: The German conservative revolution, Italian fascism and the fascist state, political theology, militarism, national socialism, modern art, the catholic church, the world wars, the Jewish question and the development of capitalism and industrialism.
